Tips for doing business:

• Before sponsoring or conducting Nikken business *Befpre sponsoring or conduction Nikken Business in Costa Rica, it is the distributors responsibility to research and comply with all immigration, visa, identity card like a foreign resident and registration rules, tax requirements and other due demands of Costa Rica.
• Any individual of legal age, legally residing in Costa Rica, needs to obtain an identity card to be a Nikken Distributor
• Distributors must provide Nikken with their identity card at the moment they sign up.
• A distributor may sponsor eligible individuals who reside in Costa Rica to become Nikken Independent Distributors.
• Special Licensing/Tax requirements *Identity card: All the distributors must have their Identity card and submit it at the moment that they sign up.
  *Value Added Tax: Costa Rica has a 13% Value Added Tax (VAT is called IV in Costa Rica). On wholesales, the IBTM is assessed on the value of the product, just in the products, in the services case or intagible things the IV doesn4t apply. The IV will show separately on the distributors invoices.
  *Tax Invoices: Nikken Costa Rica will provide the distributors with a factura any time that they place an order.

*Office hours for Nikken Costa Rica, S.A. are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m.  6:00 p.m. local time. Saturday 10:00 a.m.  2 p.m. local time.
*A distributor may not place any order until at least 70% of previously purchase inventory has been sold or verified.
*Orders can be place by fax or directly in our office.
